We are ninety minutes away from kickoff in Chicago, and we’ve gotten a hold of the inactive lists for both the Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Bears for tonight’s contest. Let’s take a look at who will be sitting this one out for both sides, starting with the visiting team.
Minnesota Vikings
DT Sharrif Floyd
OL Zac Kerin
RB Jerick McKinnon
TE MyCole Pruitt
S Andrew Sendejo
CB Marcus Sherels
WR Jarius Wright
As we’ve mentioned previously, Jayron Kearse will be getting the start for Sendejo at safety, the first of his NFL career. With Sherels being out with his wrist injury, expect Adam Thielen to be the primary punt returner this evening. Cordarrelle Patterson has, apparently, completed the NFL’s concussion protocol, as he is active for tonight’s contest.
And now, on to the home team.
Chicago Bears
TE Daniel Brown
CB Bryce Callahan
DT Eddie Goldman
CB Deiondre’ Hall
G Kyle Long
WR Eddie Royal
G Josh Sitton
This means that the Bears will be without both of their starting guards this evening. That has to make Linval Joseph happy, one would think. No other real surprises on the inactive list for the Bears for this one.
We’ll have the Open Thread for the first quarter firing up at approximately 6:30 PM Central time, one hour before kickoff in Chicago. We hope to see a lot of you folks there!
