Houston Texans at Minnesota Vikings: Inactive Lists for Both Teams

Who will be sitting this one out for the Texans and the Vikings?

NFL: New York Giants at Minnesota Vikings Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

We’re right around ninety minutes from kickoff at TCF Bank Stadium, ladies and gentlemen. That means it’s time for the teams to release their inactive lists for this afternoon’s contest. Let’s take a look at who will be sitting this one out for both teams, starting with the visitors.

Houston Texans

G Oday Aboushi
TE Stephen Anderson
DE Brandon Dunn
RB Jonathan Grimes
CB Kareem Jackson
WR Keith Mumphery
QB Brandon Weeden

Offensive tackle Duane Brown is back for the Texans, marking his first action since he suffered a leg injury in Week 17 of the regular season last year. He could provide a significant boost to the Houston offensive line, which has struggled so far this year.

And now, on to the home team.

Minnesota Vikings

LB Kentrell Brothers
WR Stefon Diggs
TE Rhett Ellison
DT Sharrif Floyd
RB Ronnie Hillman
TE David Morgan
OT Andre Smith

Diggs was a game-time decision, and the decision has been made to sit him. So, for the first time this year, both Jarius Wright and Laquon Treadwell are active at the same time. What role will either of them play? We’ll have to wait and find out.

That’s a look at the inactive lists for both teams, ladies and gentlemen. We’ll have our Open Thread for the first quarter up at around 11 AM Central.
