Since the Minnesota Vikings haven’t had enough offensive line injuries to deal with, they added one more to the pile early on in their game against the Houston Texans.
Starting right guard Brandon Fusco suffered a concussion during the Vikings’ first series of the afternoon, and has already been ruled out for the afternoon with a concussion.
Fusco moved back to right guard this season after a fairly disastrous season at left guard in 2015. He had a rough go of the first two games, but had started playing a little better the past couple of weeks. He’s out for the rest of the afternoon today, though.
Zac Kerin has replaced Fusco at right guard. Hopefully Fusco will be able to recover with the Vikings having a bye week coming up, but we won’t be seeing him for the rest of this one.
The Vikings are leading the Texans midway through the first quarter by a score of 14-0.
