Okay, we survived Monday. We'll make it.

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Hey, Merry Tuesday everyone! We have another game coming up on Sunday, as the Cardinals come to Minneapolis to take on our Vikings. Kickoff is at noon, and before 11 am I expect to hear 47 stories about how Larry Fitzgerald was a ball boy for the Vikings.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Skol Girl was here, and she's desperately seeking Zim.

The Vikings could move Alex Boone to left tackle.

The Vikings are looking to avoid a dubious history.

From the mothership, Fox won't stop photoshopping Sam Bradford's head on other QB's bodies.

Chris looks at the NFC playoff picture, and the Vikings aren't in it.

Vikings news from other sources:

ESPN sees quick throws beating our pass rush during the losing streak.

The Strib notes that our ground game is still going nowhere.

Coach Zimmer was noncommital on Blair Walsh, per Yahoo Sports.

From Vikings.com:

Coach Zimmer addressed the media yesterday.

Terence Newman says the defense needs to stop pressing. Captain Munnerlyn says they need to 'get back to Vikiings-style defense'.

Craig Peters looks at the Vikings TD passes in his After Further Review segment.

Around the rest of the league:

From NFL.com, Rob Grondowski suffered a possible punctured lung.

The Giants, with their elite QB, won a close battle vs. the Bengals last night.

We come to today's media selection. I got nothing, so I'll play a little Blues Traveler.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could potentially get someone fired or in serious trouble at their place of employment
-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm
-This isn't a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door

With that, the beer light is down and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your waitress, & try the menudo.
