Credit to the folks from The Viking Age for pointing this out on Twitter first.

If you’re going to be heading to U.S. Bank Stadium tomorrow for the game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Arizona Cardinals, the City of Minneapolis has announced that a few streets will be closed for those of you that are heading there by car.

Per the city’s website, the streets that will be closed are as follows:

  • Chicago Avenue from Fourth Street to Sixth Street (starting at 5 AM)
  • Fourth Street from Park Avenue to Interstate 35W (starting at 9 AM)
  • Norm McGrew Place from Third Street to Fourth Street (starting at 9 AM)

As I haven’t been around the area where the stadium is for a while, I’m not entirely sure how this will affect people. However, I’m sure we have folks among our readership that can give folks a better idea if they’re curious.

So, if you’re headed to U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon, take note of the road closures and plan your routes accordingly.
