Happy Wednesday, everyone! We've made it to the peak of the week, it's all downhill from here. I can't wait for Sunday, it'll be nice to get rid of the taste of Monday's crap game.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Ted posted the Stock Market Report: Bears.

Ted was on SB Nation Radio with Lewis Woodard.

Ted wants you to ask Roughing the Podcast.

The Vikings made no moves before the trade deadline.

Other sports news of note:

The Cubs offense woke up last night and roughed up Tomlin. Russell knocked in 6, including a grand slam in the 3rd, and the Cubs mauled the Indians, 9-3. Game 7 is tonight in Cleveland at 7:00 Central Time.

We come to today's media selection. Here's a good song for the upcoming deer season. I guess some of you primitive hunters already started.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could potentially get someone fired or in serious trouble at their place of employment
-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm
-This isn't a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door

With that, the beer light is down and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your waitress, & try the blood sausage.
