We are officially less than ninety minutes away from kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium, ladies and gentlemen. That means that both the Minnesota Vikings and the Arizona Cardinals have both released their inactive lists for this afternoon’s contest. Let’s take a look at who will be sitting this one out, starting with the visiting team.
Arizona Cardinals
- WR Chris Hubert
- S Tyrann Mathieu
- DT Robert Nkemdiche
- DT Corey Peters
- DT Olsen Pierre
- CB Tharold Simon
- G Cole Toner
Cardinals’ head coach Bruce Arians made Mathieu’s absence official earlier this morning. He’s a pretty significant hit for the Arizona defense, but we’ll have to see if Sam Bradford and company can take advantage.
And now, on to the home team.
Minnesota Vikings
- DT Sharrif Floyd
- QB Taylor Heinicke
- OT Rashod Hill
- G Zac Kerin
- TE David Morgan
- LB Edmond Robinson
- WR Jarius Wright
No big surprises on the inactive list for the Vikings. Wright is a healthy scratch again, meaning that Laquon Treadwell is apparently ready to go. This also means that Eric Kendricks, Captain Munnerlyn, and Xavier Rhodes are all active for this one, putting the Vikings’ defense at pretty much full strength. Here’s hoping that holds up.
There are your inactive lists for this one, ladies and gentlemen. We’ll have the Open Thread up and ready for you at the top of the 11 AM Central time hour.
