We know that the Minnesota Vikings play earlier than usual this week, but if you just can’t wait until Thursday to get your purple fix, the NFL Network is going to be featuring our favorite team on a new show of theirs.
Tackle My Ride features former NFL linebacker Lamarr Woodley and master car builder James Torrez surprising fans in different NFL towns by turning their current vehicles into pretty impressive tributes to their favorite football team. You can check out a couple of video clips of the show here, as well as a teaser for the upcoming episode.
For tonight’s episode, which airs at 7:00 PM Central time tonight (Tuesday, 22 November) on the NFL Network, Woodley and Torrez make their way to Minneapolis and track down a man that some Vikings’ fans might be familiar with in David “Diggs” Garza. Garza is a member of the Vikings World Order, so I’m sure that a lot of folks have seen him at tailgates and things of that nature. According to the episode teaser, the Tackle My Ride team turns Garza’s Chevrolet Cavalier “into a purple and gold dream.”
The team also gets an assist from current Minnesota Vikings’ tight end Kyle Rudolph. Not having seen the show yet, I’m not 100% sure what sort of role the current NFL player plays in the rebuilding of the vehicle, but it should be sort of interesting.
So, if this is the sort of show that you’re into, or you just want to see a fan of the Minnesota Vikings have something cool happen to them, then find the NFL Network on your cable or satellite dial at 7:00 PM this evening and check it out.
