Norse Code Podcast Episode 161: Istanbul Was Detroit/Been A Long Time Gone

Arif and Dusty take on Thanksgiving, but before they do that, they’ll talk about the Cardinals game, what to do in the Lions game, and what to expect of the Vikings moving forward. Then, they talk Turkey. After commenting on the former Ottoman Empire, they finally move on to Thanksgiving.

Dusty and Arif decide to rush a show before Thanksgiving in order to recap the Cardinals win, preview the Vikings’ future win against the Lions and do a brief rundown on Thanksgiving questions, though not with the same degree of detail as in year’s past because the show is long enough as it is.

Episode Notes:

  • Here’s my player review for the Cardinals game
  • Sam Ekstrom at Cold Omaha broke down the generalized success of the Wildcat with the Vikings
  • I’ve got a breakdown of Golden Tate scheduled to show up later today on 1500ESPN. When it’s up, you’ll see it either on the front page or on my author page.
  • Speaking of which, it might be worth going over Pat Shurmur’s impact, statistically, once more.
