Sam Bradford, Everson Griffen Limited In Tuesday Practice

Just a couple more names to add to the walking wounded

The injury list for the Minnesota Vikings just continues to get longer.

A new addition to today’s injury list was defensive end Everson Griffen, who was listed as limited with a shoulder injury. He was not listed on the injury report for yesterday.

One player that was on yesterday’s injury report that yours truly missed was quarterback Sam Bradford. He has been limited in practice each of the last two days, having been listed with an ankle injury.

On the bright side. . .so much as there is one. . .of the 14 players that are listed on the Vikings’ injury report at the present time, only three of them were non-participants in Tuesday’s practice session, and one of them was Sharrif Floyd, who doesn’t actually count at this point. They’re a couple of important ones, though. Starting center Joe Berger has still not been cleared after suffering a concussion against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving, and cornerback/punt returner Marcus Sherels is still out with a rib injury that he suffered in the victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

It appears that right tackle Jeremiah Sirles and cornerback Terence Newman are back to full participation after their injury woes.

The Vikings have the full injury report available for your reading pleasure. They will release a final list on Wednesday with the status of everyone for Thursday night’s game. Things are getting a little better, though. Gotta take baby steps, I suppose.
