We’re getting closer to prime time game time at U.S. Bank Stadium between the Minnesota Vikings and the Dallas Cowboys, ladies and gentlemen. If you’re not sure how you can follow along with this one and keep track of all the action, this is where we let you know of all the different ways that you can do just that. So, let’s get to it.

Television Info

Kickoff time for this one is set for 7:25 PM Central time. The game will be aired on both the NFL Network and your local NBC affiliate, which is KARE-11 in the greater Twin Cities area. Much like last week, we don’t need a map for this week’s television coverage, you don’t need DirecTV or anything like that. . .just turn on your local NBC affiliate at the appropriate time and the game will be there. Your announcers for this one will be the team of Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth.

From the info that Sports on Canadian TV has available, it looks like this game will be on NBC in Canada as well. If I’m wrong on that, we can make a correction later on. It will apparently also be on SportsNet and TVA Sports.

For our friends in the UK, this one is going to be shown live on Sky Sports 1. Kickoff time is set for 1:25 AM Friday morning UK time. (Thanks to NFL UK.)

For our men and women in uniform overseas, this one is going to be shown live on the American Forces Network on AFN Sports. It’s going to be an early morning (or a late night, depending on one’s perspective) for anyone that wants to watch this one, though. Kickoff will take place at 0225L Friday morning for everyone in Central Europe, 0555L Friday morning for fans in Afghanistan, and 1025L on Friday morning for folks in Japan and Korea.

Radio Info

For everyone that’s going to be listening on the radio, you can find an affiliate in your area that’s a part of the Vikings Radio Network. If you do not have an affiliate near you, another alternative would be to check out the TuneIn online radio service. If you can’t find a Vikings Radio Network affiliate in your area, Westwood One is going to be broadcasting the game as well, so you can check for one of their affiliates nearby.

If you’re going the satellite radio route, you can find the Vikings feed on either XM Channel 225 or Sirius Channel 81. The Cowboys feed can be located on XM Channel 226 or Sirius Channel 83. You can also find the Westwood One feed on SiriusXM NFL Radio, Channel 88 (on both networks), and for those of you that like your football broadcasts en Español, you can tune your dial to Sirius or XM Channel 157. For those using the SiriusXM Online App, the Vikings’ permanent home there is Channel 817.

Referee Info

According to the good folks at Football Zebras, the officiating crew for this one will be headed up by Tony Corrente. Corrente has been an NFL referee since 1999, and his last involvement with the Vikings was last season, when his crew worked the Vikings’ 49-17 stomping of the New York Giants at TCF Bank Stadium.

Weather Info

Game’s going to be inside, folks, and I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that the big doors on the stadium are going to be closed for this one. If you’re traveling to the game, there shouldn’t be any weather issues that you have to deal with. It’s going to be cold, but nothing other than overcast skies in the forecast.

Streaming Info

If you need a free and legal online stream for this one, you can watch it via Twitter at http://tnf.twitter.com/. There’s a chance that we might even have a stream up here on DN, as we’ve done with some of the Thursday night games this year, but we’ll have to see if that materializes or not. Another alternate streaming source is good ol’ NFL GamePass.

As far as other streams are concerned, do NOT. . .and I mean not in any way, shape, or form. . .promote illegal streaming sites on The Daily Norseman. Not in the comments, not in the FanPosts, not in the FanShots, not in the Game Thread, not anywhere. Don't even hint at them. Trust me on this. If you're that determined to watch the game via an illegal stream, do a Google search and find it on your own. And feel free to not blame us for any ill effects your computer or device might suffer as a result.

We plan on having the Open Thread for this one up at approximately 6:25 PM Central, one hour before kickoff, as we always do. We’ll see you tonight for the action between the Vikings and the Cowboys, ladies and gentlemen!
