We’re right about ninety minutes away from kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium, where the Minnesota Vikings will be attempting to get themselves right again against the team with the NFL’s best record, the Dallas Cowboys. Both of these teams have put out their inactive lists for this one, so let’s take a look at who will be sitting this one out. As always, we start with the visiting team.
Dallas Cowboys
CB Morris Claiborne
DE Ryan Davis
LB Justin Durant
OT Chaz Green
RB Darius Jackson
QB Mark Sanchez
S J.J. Wilcox
Claiborne is a pretty significant loss for the Cowboys, as he’s a big part of their secondary. We’ll have to see if the Vikings can take advantage of that. No other big surprises on the inactive list for the visitors as far as I can tell.
And now, on to the home team.
Minnesota Vikings
CB Mackensie Alexander
C Joe Berger
DT Sharrif Floyd
QB Taylor Heinicke
OT Rashod Hill
CB/PR Marcus Sherels
DE Stephen Weatherly
Nick Easton is in line to get his first NFL start at center with Berger being out for this evening. We’ll have to see if it ends up being Stefon Diggs or Adam Thielen that returns punts in this one in Sherels’ absence. Two of the Vikings’ top three corners, Terence Newman and Captain Munnerlyn, are both back for this one.
That’s a look at the inactive lists for this one, folks. The Open Thread for the first quarter of play will be up at around 6:25 PM Central time.
