Ted and Di return with episode 19 of Roughing The Podcast, and the week that was in Vikings football. In this episode they discuss:
The Vikings return to London in 2017 against the Cleveland Browns. Are they about done with the NFL playing games in Europe or no?
At about 13:45 they delve into the NFL's decision to change the Breast Cancer Awareness month of October to just Cancer awareness. Yeah, they have some opinions and ideas about that.
Around 24:00 in, they turn towards the Vikings news of the week, and discuss the Shariff Floyd injury, and Adrian Peterson's impending return.
At the 30 minute mark they review the Jaguars game. From improved pass protection to deep shots down the field, they talk anomalies or trends for both. They also talked about the red zone and short yardage issues again, and how they might be able to overcome them. If they can overcome them. Ted also schools Di about the greatness of the movie Miracle, and is embarrassed that she's never seen it. Towards the end of the offensive review of the segment there's a weird tangent where a rank ordering of original Starburst candy takes place, and a discussion of Blackjack and Ted being an introvert. Not sure how that happened, but it's important.
At 54:40 they turn their attention towards the Colts game, and the Civil War General Luck meme that must die a horrible death. They discuss the matchup with the Colts, their offensive line, the keys to a Vikings victory, and final score predictions.
At the 90 minute mark, they wrap up the show with listener questions. Far and away the most important question deals with eggnog, the worst holiday drink man has ever created.
