Longship Log:
It’s about time we talked about Adrian Peterson.
Ted questions whether we should have made the Bradford trade knowing how the season would turn out.
The Vikings season has narrowed down their 2017 opponents, and will likely have their schedule solidified after this weekend.
Chris has this weekend’s rooting guide for your perusal.
Eric has his weekly picks article.
Around the Horns:
Mike Zimmer still has hope for Laquon Treadwell. There’s also a case for moving Cordarrelle Patterson to running back.
BJ Reidell and Drew Mahowald break down this weekend’s Packers game. Andy Carlson has fun with article titles.
Harrison Smith has returned to practice. The Vikings are basically on national TV tomorrow. Mike Zimmer called out Anthony Barr. Toby Johnson’s a big fan of Linval Joseph’s work. Adrian Peterson doesn’t think he has anything left to prove.
Swords from the Opposing Hordes:
The Dallas Cowboys have clinched the NFC East, a first-round bye, and home-field advantage.
Ezekiel Elliot is GD right.
Some Redskins fans are actually pretty cool. So is Andy Dalton. And Gerald McCoy.
Eli Manning has games where he’s just horrific at that whole quarterbacking thing.
Apparently the Patriots were not informed about Michael Floyd’s BAC before picking him up off of waivers.
Minnesota sports update:
The Minnesota Wild are en fuego. With a 4-2 road victory over the Montreal Canadiens, the Wild have tied franchise records for wins (9) and points in games (10) in a row. The Wild have one last game before the holiday break, as they play the second game of their three-game road trip with a visit to Madison Square Gardens and a matchup against the Metropolitan Division’s third-place team, the New York Rangers. Puck drops at 6:00 p.m. CT.
The Timberwolves are....on...a winning streak? Huh? Do they even know what that is? Hard to say considering they haven’t had a winning streak since April. Anyway, the Wolves are on a two-game winning streak (and a two-minute collapse against the Rockets from a four-game winning streak) and they play host to the Sacramento Kings. Tip-off is at 7:00 p.m. CT.
Since it was pretty big news in the sports world yesterday, here’s Jaromir Jagr’s crowning moment with the Panthers.

With that, the disco light is down and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your local dolphin brigade, & try the double-baked poutine.
