It's Thirsty Thorsday everyone, c'mon in & have a seat.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Chris posted a transcript of Rick Spielman's Combine presser.

Here's Ted with Rickspeak, where he interprets the above presser.

Vikings news from elsewhere:

The Strib tells us about the deep analytics the Vikings use to analyze the combine drills.

Here is everything you need to know about the Vikings busy offseason, per the Strib.

From Vikings.com:

Wobby recaps the first day of the Combine.

Here are 5 takeaways from Spielman's Combine Presser.

10 telling tweets from day 1 of the Combine.

Some takes from the experts on the Vikings offensive line and prospects.

Around the league:

CBS Sports reported that Derrick Henry weighed in at 247 pounds. This isn't as heavy as the last Alabama running back, Eddie Lacy reportedly weighed last season (260 is the rumor) and I think in Henry's case, it's muscle.

ESPN reported that Cousins' agent met with the Redskins, and Gruden is hopeful.

From NFL.com:

The Niners GM expects Kaepernick to be back, but he also had a lot of good things to say about Carson Wentz.

The Chiefs and Eagles are rumored to be potential landing spots for RGIII.

New Browns coach Hue Jackson commented on the status of Johnny Manziel.

Here are some must see prospects at the combine, and also the top 99 free agents.

With that, we come to today's media selection. Here's another playlist to close out our week of Widespread Panic cover tunes. Sorry, Southparkskolman, I couldn't find the one  you mentioned yesterday, link it in the comments & I can put it up here.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could potentially get someone fired or in serious trouble at their place of employment
-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your waitress, & try the tiger meat.
