Vikings Fans Being Sought For "Villain" Role In Movie

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

Have you ever thought about trying to get your big break into the world of motion pictures? Do you like the Minnesota Vikings? Well, if you do, there's an opportunity out there for you.

The makers of an independent film entitled "The 60-Yard Line" are looking for fans of the Minnesota Vikings to portray the "villain" in their upcoming movie.

Now, I know what you're thinking. . ."But Chris, if we're fans of the Vikings, how on earth can we possibly considered villains? Vikings fans are awesome and generally good and decent people." Yes. . .I know this and you know this, and we know these things because they're absolutely true. But there's a reason that Vikings fans, specifically, are needed for this particular role.

According to the story from KARE-11, here's the main thrust of the story.

The movie, about how one Packers fan's love for his team gets between him and his girl, is set during the year that former Packers quarterback Brett Favre signed with the Vikings.

Needed are four or five "true Vikings fans or Favre/Vikings fans" with the appropriate gear to portray a family or group of fans who traveled to Lambeau Field for an away game. They'll be on set for one day of filming next week, and Churchill promises no Vikings fans will be harmed in the making of the movie.

There you go.

So, if you have some acting chops. . .or even if you don't, I guess. . .and you're interested in this, you can contact the film crew at the60YardLineMovie@yahoo.com. If you give it a shot, let us know how it goes!
