One more day to the weekend, c'mon in & wait for Friday in here.

Merry Thorsday, everyone! One more day to the weekend, I can't wait.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Ted shared a report that said George Iloka is 'interested' in the Vikings. This would be a great addition, in my opinion, and take care of one of our main positions of need.

Chris shared Todd McShay's most recent mock, where he has us taking Vonn Bell in the first. I really don't see this happening, but my guess is as bad as McShay's.

Chris posted the NFL Combine workout results for the defensive backs.

Here is the DN Mailbag, Post Combine Edition, brought to you by Ted.

Ted also brought his Vikings Mock Draft, One Point OH.

Vikings news from elsewhere:

From Vikings.com:

Lindsey Young said that Zimmer & Spielman want high-charactar players on the Vikings roster.

Defense dominates the first free agency primer, per Wobby.

Eric Smith says the Vikings are unlikely to be flashy in free agency.

Bridgewater & Barr highlight NFL.com's All-Under 25 Team.

Take a look at how the Vikings scout the NFL Combine.

There is little consensus among the mockers on who the Vikes will pick at 23.

Around the league:

Jerry Jones said the Cowboys won't draft a QB with the no. 4 pick, per NFL.com.

ESPN has all the latest rumors from around the NFL.

With that, we come to today's media selection. Well, I can't embed, so I'll just post the link to this video I've been trying to play. Hopefully, we can get the embed code issue figured out.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could potentially get someone fired or in serious trouble at their place of employment
-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your waitress, & try the blood sausage.
