It looks like linebacker Chad Greenway is going to get one more go-around with the Minnesota Vikings after all.
Re-signing of LB @chadgreenway52 by @Vikings imminent. Will be done as early as tomorrow multiple sources tell @NFLonFOX @SiriusXMNFL

There really wasn't a whole lot of drama about this. Greenway wanted to come back to the only team he's known in his NFL career, and the Vikings wanted him back. So, it appears that things are going to get done.
Terms of the contract have, obviously, not been disclosed yet, but I'd be surprised if it was more than a one-year deal. After all, Greenway himself has said that he wants to come back to Minnesota for one more season, so I'm guessing that's what he's going to get.
Depending on what the Vikings do in the 2016 NFL Draft four weeks from tonight, Greenway may be competing for his starting job at the weakside linebacker position. Anthony Barr and Eric Kendricks are going to be seeing most of the snaps for the Vikings, so Greenway's role will likely be reduced. However, as he showed us last year, he can still make an impact in limited time.
So, it appears that we can welcome Chad Greenway back to Minnesota for an eleventh NFL campaign. It's good to see him back.
