I'm sure some of you are a still a little bummed out that the Vikings didn't land Kelechi Osemele to shore up their offensive line.
But this news should turn that frown upside down.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, all our problems have been solved. Any other moves the Vikings make in free agency or the draft are gravy now. Because AUDIE COLE IS BACK. According to Ben Goessling of ESPN:
Audie Cole is back with the #Vikings. Returning on a one-year deal, according to a league source.

Obviously we're laying the enthusiasm on a little thick by celebrating the Vikings retaining a backup linebacker like this, but c'mon. It's OMG AUDIE COLE!~ He's a cult hero! He's one of the best linebackers ever to don the purple!*
(* = Preseason only)
Cole was drafted in 2012 by the Vikings in the 7th round and it has been pretty cool to see him earn his spot on the roster every season. He has played in 41 career games, starting seven. Cole has been an integral part of the Vikings special teams throughout his four NFL seasons, racking up 51 tackles, a sack, and a fumble recovery. Welcome back Audie!
