We've put five more players onto our 2016 Daily Norseman Big Board, tracking what we think the Minnesota Vikings should do in the 2016 NFL Draft. This latest grouping was dominated not just by one side of the ball, but by one particular position, as we're putting three wide receivers onto our board in spots 41 through 45.
Topping our list this time around is University of Pittsburgh wide receiver Tyler Boyd. Boyd has been hanging on for dear life in our Mock Draft Database with one selection since this year's version started, but this is probably a more realistic place to project him. Speaking of projects, Ohio State quarterback-turned-receiver Braxton Miller comes in at #43 on our board this time around, giving us yet another Buckeye for consideration. The last of our trio of wide receivers, Oklahoma wideout Sterling Shepard, checks in at #45.
Sandwiched between those three receivers are a couple of defenders. UCLA defensive tackle Kenny Clark grabbed the #42 spot on our board, while Florida safety Keanu Neal. . .whoa. . .will be slotted at #44.
Here's what the voting looked like for this go-around:
With our next round of voting, we'll reach what should be the halfway mark of our board, ladies and gentlemen. You can expect to see that round of voting go live at noon Central time.
