Laquon Treadwell has a jersey number

And it's a familiar one.

Time to add another 1 to that uniform.

The Minnesota Vikings 2016 first round draft pick is already in Minnesota making his rounds with the local media and getting ready for his introductory press conference today at Winter Park.

But before Laquon Treadwell smiles for the cameras with the Wilfs, Rick Spielman, Mike Zimmer, and other Vikings dignitaries in tow, he has to have a number on that purple uniform he's holding up.

According to Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press, he now has that uniform number:

This is a perfect choice on a lot of levels. Treadwell wore number 1 in college. Single digit uniforms only acceptable for NFL wide receivers in the preseason--wideouts can only wear 10-19 and 80-89 during the regular season. So adding another 1 makes sense on that front.

And as Tomasson already reminded us in his tweet, the last wide receiver to wear number 11 that came in with a lot of pomp and circumstance didn't exactly live up to the billing. It's not like Mike Wallace left a huge legacy to fill when he left in the offseason--even an average year from Treadwell would help wash the bad 11 taste out of our mouths.

Now that you know what Treadwell will be wearing in 2016, get ready to pre-order those #11 jerseys now, Vikings fans!

(Or, just put tape over the nameplate of that unfortunate Wallace jersey you bought and write "TREADWELL" on the back. Either way.)
