We've completed the Top 20 spots on our 2016 Daily Norseman Big Board, and this grouping featured one of the closer races we've seen to this point.
The top spot this time around goes to our fourth Ohio State Buckeye in the top 20, offensive tackle Taylor Decker. He narrowly held off the challenge of Louisville defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins to take the #16 spot. As you'll see in the graphic, the race between Decker and Rankins was incredibly close.
The #18 spot went to Georgia linebacker Leonard Floyd, while the 19th spot went to Baylor wide receiver Corey Coleman. Rounding out the top 20 is the player that might be the biggest question mark in this class, Notre Dame linebacker Jaylon Smith. Smith would have, in all likelihood, been in the top five prior to his late-season knee injury, and his 2016 season is very much in doubt. Still, his talent level is still high enough to put him at #20 on our board.
Here is how the voting came out this time around, with 539 readers making their opinions known:
Thus far, our Top 20 has eight offensive players and 12 defensive players. How will the next five selections go? We'll have the voting up for you at approximately 12 noon Central time.
