Vikings Sign Laquon Treadwell

The #23 overall pick is signed, sealed, and delivered

A little while ago it was reported that first round draft pick Laquon Treadwell has agreed to terms with the Minnesota Vikings:

Treadwell, from Ol' Miss, was considered by many people to be the best wide receiver in the 2016 Draft, and after a brief run of wideouts started by the Houston Texans selecting Will Fuller at 21, the Vikings drafted Treadwell 23rd. In between, the Washington Redskins drafted Josh Doctson, the rest of the draft experts felt was the best receiver prospect.

With the release of Mike Wallace, there's a spot at the top of the depth chart, and barring something unexpected, Treadwell will be in competition for a starting job as soon as he steps on to the practice field at Winter Park. He's a big receiver, provides QB Teddy Bridgewater with an excellent target, and represents a significant upgrade at receiver for the team.

With the Treadwell signing the Vikings now have all eight picks under contract It's so nice not to have to worry about hold outs, isn't it?

Welcome to Minnesota, Laquon Treadwell. Now, you, Teddy, AP, and that badass defense go win the Super Bowl.

No pressure, kid.
