Twins depressing news of the day:
This may come as a shock, but the Twins lost yesterday. I know, I was surprised, too. The good news is that the Twins only struck out 11 times, and the bullpen actually gave up less runs than innings pitched. Nolasco actually had a decent outing, but the defense was horrible. Final score was 3-6, Tigers over the Twins.
With that, we come to today's media selection. The subject of classic Saturday Night Live skits came up the other day, so here's a list of top 10 skits.
Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could potentially get someone fired or in serious trouble at their place of employment
-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your waitress, & try the head cheese.
