Your Thorsday open thread is ready and open for business.

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Thorsday, everyone! Well, we're almost through another week of the off-season. Soon, training camp, then, football.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Tours of U.S. Bank Stadium have been announced.

Vikings news from other sources:

Harrison Smith and Linval Joseph made the NFL Network's top 100 list.

It looks like Bud Grant's garage sale is a hit again. Here are the 5 most interesting items at the sale.

Laquon Treadwell is keeping his focus on earning an opportunity.

From the StarTribune, Vikings fans are concerned about shrinking tailgating space.

Ex-Vikiing, Pete Bercich, has been named the new head coach at Hill-Murray, per the Star-Tribune.

Gil Brandt over at ranked the top off-seasons for all NFL teams, and the Vikigns made the top 5! Thanks to Teddy2Diggs for the heads-up on this one.

Around the NFL:

Yahoo Sports looks at 10 rookies who need to bounce back this year.

Michael Bennett does not think highly of Sam Bradford, story from Yahoo Sports.

CBS Sports wonders if changes are on the way for NFL replays.

Twins depressing news of the day:

This may come as a shock, but the Twins lost yesterday. I know, I was surprised, too. The good news is that the Twins only struck out 11 times, and the bullpen actually gave up less runs than innings pitched. Nolasco actually had a decent outing, but the defense was horrible. Final score was 3-6, Tigers over the Twins.

With that, we come to today's media selection. The subject of classic Saturday Night Live skits came up the other day, so here's a list of top 10 skits.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could potentially get someone fired or in serious trouble at their place of employment
-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your waitress, & try the head cheese.
