Catch up on the latest & greatest about your Vikings here!

Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

Hump Daaaayyyyyy! We're half-way to another long-awaited weekend. The Pro Bull Riding is in Bismarck, so stay off the sidewalks if you want to avoid being run over.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Teddy Bridgewater is much more plus than minus, by Chris.

Adrian Peterson and Linval Joseph made the new PFF top 101 list.

Harrison Smith talks about the playoffs and about Teddy Bridgewater.

Watch a video of Teddy Bridgewater's post mini-camp press conference.

Xavier Rhodes worked against some of the best receivers there are this off-season.

Vikings news from elsewhere:

From Vikings.com:

Here's a video of coach Zimmer's press conference.

Stefon Diggs says Teddy Bridgewater looks top-of-the-line.

Eric Smith has 3 observations from the first minicamp practice. He also explains how Everson Griffen embodies the work ethic of the Vikings defense.

Lindsey Young has a Vikings minicamp roundup.

Brian Robison was mic'd up in a 2-minute drill practice.

Finishing throws is helping Teddy on deep completions.

Around the rest of the NFL:

Brandon Marshall signed a 4-year extension with the Broncos, per NFL.com.

NFL.com reports that Eugene Monroe is on the trade block, and has been sitting out practice. I wonder if the Vikings are looking at him?

From ESPN, Joey Bosa is skipping Chargers minicamp over a contract dispute. I'm not sure how you have a contract dispute this late in the game with the rookie wage scale, but the Chargers' front office has managed to find a way to have one.

Twins update:

The Twins couldn't make it three in a row, as they dropped a close one to the California Los Angeles Angels who play in Anaheim Calaifronia Los Angeles Angels, Santana struggled and the Twins lost 4-5.

With that, we come to today's media selection. Here's where it all began in 2009, it's week one vs. the Browns.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could potentially get someone fired or in serious trouble at their place of employment
-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your waitress, & try the liver & onions.
