It's Thorsday, settle in & grab a cold one.

Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Thirsty Thorsday, everyone! It's good to be back home. Sorry this is a little late, but I had a lot of stuff to catch up on this morning.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

The new Vikings headquarters in Eagan were approved.

Arif posted Norse Code Podcast 137: Bear Necessities.

Ted and Eric teamed up to give us30-26 of the top 30 Vikings for 2016.

Vikings news from other sources:

From Vikings.com:

Here are the latest photos of U.S. Bank Stadium, including aerial photos.

Moritz is adjusting to his new life with the Vikings.

The Vikings aim for 'world-class environment' at their future Eagan home.

In what I'm sure will generate some discussion on here, the U.S. Bank Stadium partners announced plans for a craft beer program.

Go here to vote for the Vikings Cheerleaders Swimsuit Calendar cover girl.

Around the NFL:

According to Karlos Dansby, a lot of the Browns players 'shut down' during the 2015 season, from NFL.com.

From Yahoo Sports, many athletes were bilked in a scheme, including Mark Sanchez. The adviser, who was approved by the NFLPA, reportedly mishandled more than $30 million of athletes' money. Wow, that NFLPA is sure effective. What good have they done for players?

From ESPN, here are NFL players with ties to the CFL.

Twins update:

Kepler redeemed himself on offense AND defense after an early error put the Phillies on top, and the Twins won 6-5.

Well, I can't YouTube to fire up on my work computer, so I guess there's no media selection today.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could potentially get someone fired or in serious trouble at their place of employment
-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your waitress, & try the head cheese.
