How You Can Contribute To The Daily Norseman

Over the past few weeks, we've gotten several inquiries asking from folks asking about how they can write for the best Minnesota Vikings team blog the interwebs have to offer.

(Yeah, I mean us.)

On that front, I have some good news and some bad news.

The bad news is that we are not, at the present time, actively looking to add any more front page contributors to The Daily Norseman.

The good news? You can still contribute to a site that gets a whole lot of traffic and get a whole lot of eyes on your writing! Better still, it's really easy to do.

The first thing you have to do is create an account on SB Nation and sign up to be a member of The Daily Norseman. That's fairly straightforward, although we do have a 24-hour waiting period before you can actually post anything. It keeps riff-raff out. And the spambots. Mostly the spambots, actually.

After that, all you need to do is start writing FanPosts. FanPosts are basically the same thing that we do as front page contributors, they just appear over in the right-hand sidebar of the site. You can use them to put together your opinions on pretty much anything relating to the Minnesota Vikings, and you'll still get plenty of people to read and comment on it. If your FanPost gets enough recommendations, it gets bumped up to the "recommended" section. We even move the occasional FanPost to the front page of the site.

We get plenty of great FanPosts on our site, and we're one of the more active ones in the SB Nation NFL Community in that regard, I think. So, if you want to voice your opinions on our favorite football team, there's a way that you can do that. So, if you're interested, you can jump on in and get started!
