Hump Daaayyyyyy! We're halfway to the weekend, everyone. There isn't a whole lot of football news, but we'll scrape up what we can.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Chris sat down with Larry D of Chicago Bears review and talked about the Vikings.

Vikings single-game tickets go on sale Wednesday.

Vikings news from other sources: has a training camp preview video of the wide receivers.

Eric Smith of says the Vikings are pleased with Laquon Treadwell's toughness.

Ben Goessling at ESPN thinks the Vikings' Super Bowl hope could hinge on Teddy Bridgewater.

Around the league:

Dez Bryant has filed a lawsuit against his former "financial adviser", per According to the story, this former adviser was one of Dez's "inner circle", who was supposed to keep Dez out of trouble. looks at who they think are the top TEs in the league (after Gronk).

Twins update:

Behind a really nice outing by Milone, and the power of Dozier, the Twins beat the Tigers, 6-2. Milone had a one-hit shutout going into the 9th, great night for him.

With that, we come to today's media selection. It's been a while since we watched ol' John Randle, let's take a look at him chatting it up on the field.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could potentially get someone fired or in serious trouble at their place of employment
-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm
-This isn't a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your waitress, & try the blood sausage.
