Monday Open Thread: August 1, 2016

Happy Monday, everyone! We've all been waiting for real football to start, and the wait is over. Training camp started Thursday (even though it really started on Friday), and we have actual football news to share, good and bad.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

The Vikings signed Claudell Louis, a DT (and not a punter, grrrr), and the roster is now full.

Twins update:

Nolasco tossed a beauty on Friday, but didn't get the win, as the Twins waited until the 12th to win it 2-1 over the White Sox. Despite a big night by Escobar, the Twins couldn't hold off the White Sox on Saturday, and lost 5-6. On Sunday, Santana had a decent outing, and Dozier had the hot bat, and the Twins beat the White Sox  6-4.

We come to today's media selection. It seems like a good day for Beavis and Butthead.
