Daily Norseman Fantasy Football Sign-Ups Coming Monday

With the start of the football season comes Fantasy Football, and we’re once again going to be putting together a league through the folks at Yahoo! Sports. Just like last season, we’re going to give our readers an opportunity to do battle with members of The Daily Norseman staff in fantasy football combat.

We’ve expanded our league for this year, as it’s now going to be a 16-team bonanza. As it was last season, half of the spots in the league will be filled by DN staff members, while the other half will be filled by our readers. This year, the DN staff members that will be taking part are the following:

-Jackson McIntire

We will have the sign-up opportunity coming on Monday, starting at noon Central time. Like last year, it will involve your best Fantasy Football team nickname. My advice would be to not post those nicknames here, lest someone steal it from you and submit it themselves on Monday’s thread.

At the present time, we do not have a solid time and date for the draft, but we’ll be holding it sometime after the final preseason game so that injuries can’t jump up and bite anyone before the regular season starts on 8 September.
