Here are the ground rules for the Game Threads:

-Thou shalt not link illegal feeds of today's game, or I shall kick thy arse to the curb until the game is over. Do not promote then, do not mention them, do not even hint at them. Thou hast been warned.

-Thou shalt make an attempt to keep the swearing to a minimum. Understandable that it will slip occasionally, but do try to limit it. If you really feel the need to curse, use the spoiler tags to keep it covered up. We'll get the sentiment.

-Thou shalt not feed the trolls. Rather, thou shall simply point them out, and they shall be banished to the fires of Mordor. Or Wisconsin. Whichever we feel is more harsh at the time.

-Thou shalt not engage in racist, sexist, or other such insulting rhetoric. Somebody disagreeing with you does not make them racist or sexist. It means they disagree with you. Talk it out like adults.

-Thou shalt not bait the fans of other teams into trolling.

-Basically, thou shalt not be a jackwagon in the game thread.

Yes, the day has finally come where our favorite football team gets an opportunity to break in the place they're going to call home for the next three decades or more. Yes, the Minnesota Vikings are hosting the San Diego Chargers this afternoon in Minneapolis, and it's the first ever game for the Vikings at U.S. BANK STADIUM~! Yes, it doesn't actually count for anything, but it's still a pretty major day in the history of our favorite football team.

So, what are some of the things that we're looking for in today's "all-important" third preseason game?

1) No injuries - Yep, still the most important thing. We don't need to see anyone get hurt at this point, particularly since this is the last game that most of the starters will see any time in prior to 11 September.

2) How's Teddy look? - Yes, we all know what happened in the Vikings' last preseason game, with Teddy Bridgewater getting taken out at the last minute and not seeing any action. I'm guessing that Bridgewater is going to play most of the first half in this one, if not into the third quarter. After missing preseason game #2, this is going to be a big game for him in terms of how he's working with the #1 offense. He likely won't have Matt Kalil in this one, so whoever replaces him is going to have to keep Bridgewater upright.

3) Center of attention - Speaking of starters, we still don't know who Bridgewater will be taking snaps from in Week 1 of the regular season at this point. Will it be the man who served as his center last season, Joe Berger? Or will it be the man Berger replaced, longtime starter John Sullivan? They've both been taking snaps with the first team in practices leading up to today's game, and Mike Zimmer has said that a decision will be made in the days following this game, so it's a big one for both players.

We're a little less than an hour away from kickoff in the first Vikings game at U.S. BANK STADIUM~! We hope that you'll enjoy today's Open Thread, ladies and gentlemen.
