It's your post-game-overreaction open thread!

Merry overreaction Monday, everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend and were able to enjoy the game yesterday, it was a good one.

Here are a few of my thoughts on the game:

What looked good:

Teddy Bridgewater looked how a great QB should look out there. He stayed in the pocket, was very accurate, and led the team on some good drives. Speaking of pockets, the O line looked like........an O line. Yes, there were some missed blocks, and it's obvious that Clemmings isn't ready to be a starting LT....yet, but overall our O line looked MUCH improved from last year's group. Diggs had a really nice game, and Teddy spread the ball around well. The defense, especially the pass defense, looked very good, and that was without some starters. The run defense looked better, but did give up that one big run, which seemed like a missed gap assignment. Trattou had a shot at Gordon on that play, but was honed in on Rivers. For special teams, both Locke and Walsh were solid, and the coverage units did their job.

What didn't look good:

There's not much to put here. Clemmings still has room to improve, and the run defense had that one blown play, but other than that, it seemed like the team was running on all 8. Rudolph had some nice catches, but he also had a drop and a fumble.

We come to today's media selection. As is our tradition, here is our post-win musical selection.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could potentially get someone fired or in serious trouble at their place of employment
-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm
-This isn't a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your waitress, & try the chitlins.
