Report: Teddy Bridgewater Suffers Non-Contact Knee Injury

The Vikings’ starting quarterback went down without contact, grabbing his left knee.

Just when everything appeared to be going fairly well for the Minnesota Vikings, there’s some potentially devastating news coming out of Winter Park.

During the Vikings’ practice on Tuesday, Teddy Bridgewater went back to pass and then went down without contact. He went to the ground, holding his left knee and appeared to be in a great deal of pain.

The Vikings called practice off about 20 minutes early. Bridgewater had players surrounding him, as well as players cursing about what happened to their quarterback.

Bridgewater looked spectacular in Sunday’s 23-10 victory over the San Diego Chargers, completing 12-of-16 passes for 161 yards and a touchdown. Again, we don’t have any word at this point as to the severity of the injury. When we have more word, we will immediately pass it along. In the meantime, it appears that all we can do is hope for the best, although it doesn’t sound good for our favorite team at this point.
