Minnesota Vikings at Carolina Panthers: Inactive Lists For Both Teams

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

We're approximately ninety minutes from kickoff at Bank of America Stadium, ladies and gentlemen, and that means we've gotten the inactive lists for both teams in this afternoon's contest between the Minnesota Vikings and the Carolina Panthers. Let's take a look at who will be sitting this one out for both teams, starting with the visitors.

Minnesota Vikings

LB Kentrell Brothers
Nick Easton
DT Sharrif Floyd
RB Ronnie Hillman
TE MyCole Pruitt
WR Laquon Treadwell

Running back Adrian Peterson is not among the inactives because he was officially placed on Injured Reserve on Friday. Xavier Rhodes is active, so he will see his first action of 2016, which is big for this defense. Treadwell being scratched is a big surprise, given that he hasn't been injured. That means Jarius Wright is active for the first time this season.

Since the Vikings currently only have 52 players on the roster, they only need to declare six inactives.

Now, on to the home team.

Carolina Panthers

WR Brenton Bersin
WR Damiere Byrd
DE Ryan Delaire
LB Jeremy Cash
Tyler Larsen
RB Jonathan Stewart
CB Teddy Williams

No huge surprises for the Panthers on their inactive list. Cash and Stewart were listed on the Panthers' injury report on Friday, so they were both expected to be on there.

And those are the inactive lists for both sides in this afternoon's big NFC contest, folks. The Open Thread for the first quarter of play will be up at 11 AM Central time.
