With the Minnesota Vikings being relatively firm at the running back position, the chances of an undrafted rookie making the squad were going to be slim at best. It appears that even a great preseason finale wasn’t going to be enough to crack the depth chart.
Source says #Vikings letting running back Jhurrel Pressley go. Hope, though, is for practice squad.

According to Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, the Vikings are waiving running back Jhurell Pressley.
Pressley went undrafted back in April, and the Vikings brought him in as a free agent. He made a lot of noise against the Los Angeles Rams in the final preseason game, as he had a 28-yard touchdown reception and an electric 106-yard kickoff return. However, it wasn’t enough to put him above Matt Asiata on the running back depth chart.
It sounds like the Vikings want to attempt to get Pressley onto the practice squad, but after his performance on Thursday, that might be a little tougher to do.
