The Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs gets underway this afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, and our first destination is Atlanta, as the second-seeded Atlanta Falcons play host to the Seattle Seahawks, who are coming off of a 26-6 victory over Detroit last weekend.
These two teams played an outstanding game back in Week 6, a game that saw the Seahawks emerge victorious by a score of 26-24. That game was in Seattle, though, and the Seahawks had the services of safety Earl Thomas, who will be out of this week's contest. Julio Jones had 139 receiving yards against the Seahawks in that first matchup, and he'll test the "Legion of Boom" again in this one.
The winner of this one will move on to the NFC Championship Game next Sunday afternoon, but they won't know whether they'll be traveling or hosting the game until after tomorrow's NFC Divisional Game.
Enjoy this one, ladies and gentlemen. . .it should be a pretty good contest. We'll have a thread up for the AFC game approximately half an hour before kickoff.
