Thursday Open Thread: January 26, 2017

Merry Thirsty Thorsday, everyone!

We’re just three short days away from the Pro Bowl, and the thankful conclusion to the 2016 NFL season. A season that started off with so much promise unfortunately ended in a dwelling fire for Vikings fans. Luckily for us, the bones of the place are good, we just need to remodel a room (fix the O line) & do some cosmetic work (add some depth) & it’ll be as good as new. I’m excited for the off-season and to see what Rick & Co. have in store for us, I have a feeling we’ll make a couple moves in free agency or in a trade or two this year. I think they understand the needs we have and will address them.

Someone at the NFL must read the open thread. The NFL is going to implement more skills competitions during Pro Bowl week, per yahoo.com. They’re still going to have the crappy game, so there’s room for improvement, but this is a step in the right direction, IMO.
