We are ninety minutes from kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium, ladies and gentlemen, and both the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions have released their lists of inactive players for this week’s contest. Let’s take a look at who will be sitting out for both sides, starting with the visiting team.

Detroit Lions

  • LB Thurston Armbrister
  • S Don Carey
  • LB Jarrad Davis
  • WR Kenny Golladay
  • RB Tion Green
  • G Tim Lelito
  • RB Dwayne Washington

Davis and Golladay are both pretty significant losses for the Lions. Davis has turned into a leader on their defense, while Golladay has contributed quite a bit in his first season with the team.

And now, on to the home team.

Minnesota Vikings

  • WR Rodney Adams
  • DE Tashawn Bower
  • QB Sam Bradford
  • WR Stacy Coley
  • OT Rashod Hill
  • G Danny Isidora
  • DT Jaleel Johnson

After tweaking his knee in practice earlier this week, Hill is a scratch from this one. Mike Remmers will start after an illness earlier this week, and Jeremiah Sirles will be his backup. Undrafted rookie Aviante Collins is “up” for the first time in his NFL career to help with the offensive line depth.

That’s the inactive lists for this week’s contest, folks. The Open Thread for the first quarter of play should be up at 11:00 AM Central time. We hope you’ll join us!
