We are just ninety minutes from kickoff in Minneapolis, ladies and gentlemen, and that means that the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers have released their lists of inactive players for this afternoon’s NFC North tilt. Let’s take a look at who will be sitting this one out, starting with the visiting team.
Green Bay Packers
- DT Montravius Adams
- LB Ahmad Brooks
- S Morgan Burnett
- CB Davon House
- CB Kevin King
- OT Joe Thomas (no, not that Joe Thomas)
- OL Adam Pankey
Both of the Packers’ starting offensive tackles, David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga, are active for this one after being listed as questionable. The Packers have a lot of injuries in the secondary, and hopefully Case Keenum can take advantage of that.
And now, on to the home team.
Minnesota Vikings
- WR Rodney Adams
- DE Tashawn Bower
- QB Sam Bradford
- OT Aviante Collins
- WR Stefon Diggs
- G Nick Easton
- S Andrew Sendejo
Michael Floyd gets the start at receiving in place of Diggs, and Jeremiah Sirles will start at left guard in place of Easton. Anthony Harris will get the start at safety for Sendejo, who was listed as “questionable” on Friday’s injury report. Because of the injury to Easton, rookie Danny Isidora is “up” for the first time in his career today, so congratulations to him.
Those are the injury lists for the Vikings and the Packers leading up to this afternoon’s contest, ladies and gentlemen. The Open Thread for the first quarter of action should be up and ready by 11:00 AM Central time.
