Wednesday Open Thread: October 18, 2017

Merry Wednesday, everyone!

Ya’ know what’s kinda cool? Most years, if we’d have lost our starting QB to injury, we’d be trodding through the games, hearing the bleating of those “fans” who are only happy when we’re losing so they can complain about the team, and waiting for the draft to get here. This year, even though the starter has been out since after week one (pretty much), we’re optimistic about winning the division, pretty happy with how the backup is doing, and anxiously awaiting our REAL starting QB’s possible return. Have I ever mentioned how much I like Coach Zimmer & how elated I am that we hired him? Pretty sure I have........a couple thousand times.

This week is crazy (again), and it’s late, so this is going to be brief. Go ahead & make up for it in the comments, no one reads this stuff up here anyway. SKOL!!!!!!!!

From ESPN, Coach Zimmer shrugs off the idiotic scrutiny that a legal hit is getting, as he should. This is the last time I’m linking a story about this idiotic nonsense hysteria. A player got hurt; it sucks, no one likes it. The world didn’t explode, the beer supply didn’t run out, we can still go fishing, and the sun will rise tomorrow (hopefully). I truly hate the media, I should start posting stories of scenes from Road Runner cartoons up here or something.
