We are just under ninety minutes away from kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium, and that means that the Minnesota Vikings and the Baltimore Ravens have released their inactive lists for today’s contest. Let’s take a look at who will be sitting this one out for both sides, starting with the visiting team.
Baltimore Ravens
- WR Jeremy Maclin
- WR Chris Matthews
- WR Breshad Perriman
- OL Matt Skura
- RB Terrance West
- TE Maxx Williams
- LB Tim Williams
The Ravens had already ruled five players out for this one, and listed another (Matthews) as doubtful, so their list was pretty much written already. Maclin, who was listed as questionable on the injury report, apparently tested his injured shoulder this morning and decided he wasn’t going to be able to go, so he’s out for this one, too. Maxx Williams, the former Golden Gopher, will not be making his return against the team from his college home this week. The Ravens are still pretty banged up, as they listed seven other players as “questionable” going into this week’s contest, so it will be interesting to see how John Harbaugh juggles their personnel today.
And now, on to the home team.
Minnesota Vikings
- CB Mackensie Alexander
- DE Tashawn Bower
- QB Sam Bradford
- OT Aviante Collins
- WR Stefon Diggs
- G Nick Easton
- WR Michael Floyd
Bradford is out once again, so Minnesota will continue to roll with Case Keenum as the starting quarterback and Kyle Sloter as his backup. After a one-week absence, Andrew Sendejo will return to the starting lineup next to Harrison Smith at the safety position. Jeremiah Sirles will make his second consecutive start in Easton’s spot at left guard, and hopefully he can perform as well as he did against Green Bay last week. I would assume that Laquon Treadwell gets the start at wide receiver across from Adam Thielen with both Diggs and Floyd out. Rookie Rodney Adams is also “up” for the first time in his NFL career, so congratulations to him on that.
There are your inactive lists, ladies and gentlemen. We’ll have the Open Thread for the first quarter up and running at 11:00 AM Central.
