Not the roster move everybody wants, but the roster moves they needed to make. The Vikings have made four roster moves in the last few minutes and I’ll let their twitter feed explain it.
We have claimed RB Mack Brown.

Recently added offensive lineman Cornelius Edison has been waived, along with wide receiver Rodney Adams. Neither, as far as I know, played a snap with the Vikings. This would appear that OL Nick Easton and Jeremiah Sirles will be healthy coming out of the bye. Adams was buried on the depth chart behind even fellow rookie Stacey Coley and it’ll be interesting to see if he will be claimed on waivers.
As for Mack Brown, he’s basically been a RB3 both of his seasons in the league and that will likely be his role with the Vikings for as long as they keep him on the roster. He was claimed off waiver from the Redskins, so he’s likely going to be pumped for any and all information on the Redskins’ playbook so the Vikings can have additional information to work with over the bye. Brown has 16 carries for 111 yards (6.9 YPC) with a 61-yard touchdown mixed in. He’s not much of a receiving back, as he has only two receptions for 9 yards in two seasons.
Finally, fan favorite S Andrew Sendejo, aka the Human Missile, has been re-instated from the suspended list and will take the final open spot on the 53-man roster for the Vikings. Sendejo was suspended for one game for his hit on Mike Wallace during Minnesota’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.
We will keep you appraised of any roster moves for the Vikings with the trade deadline looming tomorrow.
