Merry Monday, everyone!
What a game, huh? I was worried when the Redskins scored that quick TD, but the offense answered with an even quicker TD, and they stayed on the gas for most of the game. The defense, especially the pass defense, gave up more than we’re accustomed to seeing, but there were also some bright spots. Mackensie Alexander played a really good game, in my opinion, it was nice to see him performing well.
Keenum had a nice game up until sometime in the 4th quarter, then he did the absolute last thing you want to do late in the game with a lead and turned the ball over......twice. That wasn’t good, but fortunately, it didn’t cost the team the game, and they left the Nation’s Capital with a win. Final score was 38-30 (but you already knew that).
We have a bit of a decision to make at QB, and it’s the talk of the Vikings town at all the media outlets. I’ll save my comments for.....well....the comments. SKOL!!!!
Around the DN since our last open thread:

From James Dator at the Mothership, Teddy wiped away tears of joy yesterday as he suited up for his first regular season game since 2015.

The Vikings surprised 5 veterans with a surprise trip to yesterday’s game, per Chris.

The owners are researching the possibility of using the ‘nuclear option’ to deal with Jerry Jones and end his feud with Roger Goodell. If you ask me, Jones is actually making sense in this one.
We come to our media selection:
I’ll never tire of this post-win tradition. Fire up the bands, boys & girls!
We all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn't a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep vulgar language to a minimum, using spoiler tags if you must
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your waitress, & try the blood sausage
