One. More. Day.

NFL: Los Angeles Rams at Minnesota Vikings Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

Merry Wednesday everyone!

It’s one of those confusing days. We get to watch Vikings football tomorrow, so it seems like a Saturday, but we’re working the last day of the week, so it feels like Friday, but it’s actually Wednesday. Well, happy Fridurnsday.

I can’t wait for tomorrow, I love Thanksgiving, and I love it a million times more since the Vikings are playing again. I try to use the day to remind myself to be thankful for everything I have in my life, and to not complain about the things I don’t. I also use the day to make large amounts of dead animal on the smoker, I hope y’all get a chance to do the same. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Around the DN since our last open thread.

Arif posted Norse Code Podcast Episode 210: The Knife’s Edge.

Chris has your Week 12 Minnesota Vikings Power Rankings Roundup.

Ted takes a look at how the Vikings managed to turn their offensive line from raw sewage into a cohesive unit in one off-season. It’s been nothing short of miraculous.

Vikings news from other sources:

From the Pioneer Press, Randy Moss and Steve Hutchinson are semi-finalists for the Hall of Fame. Moss better be a first-ballot inductee. Hutch will get in at some point, too, IMO.

Over at Vikings.com, they have a good interview with Riley Reiff, Pete Bercich takes a look at the Lions in the film room to see what’s changed since we faced them earlier in the season, and there’s lots more to watch in the media vault.

ESPN looks at how two undrafted stars are leading the offensive charge (an argument could be made that the O line is leading that charge, and I wouldn’t argue).

Around the rest of the league:

Jerry Jones has withdrawn his threat to sue the league, per The Wall Street Journal.

From NFL.com, the Seahawks have cut Dwight Freeney.

We come to today’s media selection.

Since Moss is a semi-finalist for the Hall of Fame, let’s watch a game that contains one of the best Moss moments. I loved this game.

-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your waitress, & try the head cheese
