Although I have already been a guest on his show several times before, Chase Thomas was foolish enough to invite me back on his podcast Wednesday night to discuss Sunday’s big game between the Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons. Chase, a Falcons fan who lives in Atlanta, starts our conversation with a friendly reminder that he was much more optimistic about the Vikings before the season than I was. From there we get into our obligatory Vikings quarterback discussion, including whether we’ll see Sam Bradford back on the field again and what they’ll do going forward with Case Keenum and Teddy Bridgewater.
Next we speculated on possible playoff matchups for the Vikings and who each of us would prefer to see against Minnesota in the opening rounds. After that we began previewing the big game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday. Both of us are a little nervous about what the opposing offenses might be able to do, so we see a good chance of quite a few points being scored. Finally, Chase and I break down some of the key matchups that could decide the outcome of what should be a close game in Atlanta.
My segment starts at the 63-minute mark. But if you want to listen to some excellent NFL talk as an appetizer to our conversation, listen from the beginning to hear Chase and Ethan Hammerman from Pats Pulpit.
