In comments made to the local press this morning, Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer announced that Case Keenum will remain the starter, but Teddy Bridgewater will be in uniform and active:
No QB misdirection this time around. Zimmer announces Keenum will start, Bridgewater will dress on Sunday.

And as much as most people are happy that Bridgewater is back with the Vikings, keeping Keenum as the starter makes sense, and it’s not a bad decision. Personally, I’m of the opinion that the Vikings need to know what they have in Teddy, and should play him right away, and I’m not trying to say I’ve changed my mind here.
The reasons I have for wanting Bridgewater over Keenum have to do with evaluating the position long term, and the sooner the Vikings have answers, either way, about Teddy, the quicker they can formulate a long term plan for the position. And to be honest, I don’t think Keenum is the answer in that long term plan, unless he returns to Minnesota as the primary backup.
But I fully understand that the Vikings are doing well under Keenum, and are not 6-2 without him right now. The Vikings offense has played well enough, if inconsistent at times, and he hasn’t done anything atrocious enough to warrant getting benched.
So, is Case Keenum the quarterback for the rest of the season, then? Not necessarily:
Once Bridgewater is at a point where everyone is comfortable with him, does Zimmer want him to start? "We'll just see how it goes," he said. "Case has done an outstanding job."

So Vikings will proceed at QB this Sunday with Keenum even with Bridgewater ready to play. Week-to-week drill picks up for next Sunday.

Does Keenum seem bothered by all the noise surrounding the injured QB drama in Minnesota this year?
Case Keenum proclaims he'll be boring as usual on QB changes. "We've done it week by week for the last couple weeks and it's seemed to work OK."

Keenum: I'm prepared for this. Whether it's Jared (Goff last year) or Teddy or Sam in the mix.

No, not at all. Which is why Keenum, in my mind, is the perfect quarterback, for this team, for this situation.
