It’s Tuesday, the Vikes are still NFC North Champs, and there’s lots more season to look forward to!

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

Ahhhhhhhh, that win still tastes good, doesn’t it? Close games are fun and all, but I sure enjoy it when the good guys hand out a good whoopin’, too. No stress at all, just watch & enjoy.

I also learned a new trick on Sunday, it’s great for watching games. Kiddo must have hit a button on the remote, so I watched 90% of the game in Spanish, and it. was. awesome. I didn’t understand a lot of the words, but you do hear the players’ names, it was perfect. Now I can actually listen to an entire game without hitting mute or constantly arguing with the announcers (I know they can’t hear me, I argue anyway, it’s my house).

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Case Keenum loves it here, and he would like to stay, per Wludford.

Chris looks at the playoff picture, where the Vikes have clinched a spot, but not a bye.....yet.

Eric picks out five game-changing plays from Vikings-Bengals.

Chris shares a clip from Sunday, and shows an example of a lesson we can all learn. Chris hits the nail on the head with this one, it’s a perfect example of what this team’s all about right now.

Vikings news from other sources:

From the Pioneer Press, Jerick McKinnon says ‘they didn’t want to cover me’ on Sunday. Well, he made them pay for that little oversight........several times.

ESPN has a freshly updated playoff chart for the NFC and AFC.

From Vikings.com, Rick Spielman talks about the pivotal 2015 draft class, teammates talk about everything that Newman brings to the defense, see the top 5 Vikings moments in Vikings playoff history, and there’s lots more to sift through in the media vault.

News from around the rest of the NFL:

From NFL.com, the Falcons beat the Buccaneers last night. This altered the playoffs outlook quite a bit, and the Packers were officially eliminated. I wonder what ESPN will write about?

The Browns could wind up with the top 2 picks in the next NFL draft, per CBS Sports. I’m concerned that will somehow make them worse, draft picks haven’t been a good thing for them lately. Hopefully they fire Gregggggggggggggggggg after the season so I can quit disliking them.

Aaron Rodgers post-injury return to the NFL may have been a short one, but they aren’t sure yet, per NFL.com.

We come to today’s media selection.

Seems like a good song for today for some reason.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn't a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can't disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it's sarcasm

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don't forget to tip your waitress, & try the tiger meat.
