During the first quarter of the Minnesota Vikings’ Week 16 contest against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau field, the Vikings appear to have taken what could be a significant hit to their offensive line.
Left guard Nick Easton had to be carted off of the field after a running play that saw his leg get rolled up on. He has been ruled as “out” for the rest of tonight’s contest, and was replaced by Jeremiah Sirles.
Easton has started the majority of the games at left guard this year for the Vikings, and even got a start at center when Pat Elflein missed a game earlier this season. He was unable to put any weight on his ankle as he was taken to the sideline, and from the sideline was placed on the cart and taken back to the locker room. If we get any further updates on his injury, we will bring them to you here.
Again, starting left guard Nick Easton has suffered what appears to be a right ankle injury and has been ruled out for the rest of tonight’s contest against the Green Bay Packers.
