Much like Messrs. Bachman, Turner, and Overdrive, the Minnesota Vikings spent their Saturday night taking care of business, as they completed their first sweep of the Green Bay Packers since 2009 and inched closer to a first-round playoff bye.
Of course, that means that the Vikings will not be on this afternoon or evening. So, for the final time this season, we have ourselves a (modified, limited) RED ZONE SUNDAY here at The Daily Norseman! That’s right, we can just sit back, relax, and watch the rest of the NFL beat each other up for the next couple of days and have not a care in the world.
I’ve already detailed some of the games that we need to pay attention to today in the Vikings’ quest to wrap up a first-round bye, but this is the full list of games that will be taking place today. If you don’t have the Red Zone Channel or DirecTV and want to know what games are playing in your area, feel free to check out the coverage maps from 506 Sports.

There will be no Sunday Night Football game this week, but there will be two games on Monday. The early Monday contest will feature the Houston Texans hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers (NBC/NFLN, 3:30 PM Central), while the late game will see the Oakland Raiders taking on the Philadelphia Eagles (ESPN, 7:30 PM Central).
With that, feel free to enjoy the rest of the Week 16 action in the National Football League, folks! We’re about half an hour away from kickoff across the league.
