As the Minnesota Vikings are guaranteed a home playoff game. . .because, you know, that’s what happens when you win your division. . .people are probably wondering how they can get their hands on tickets. Thankfully, the team has just made that announcement.

According to the official team website, tickets for the Vikings’ first playoff game will go on sale this Saturday, 30 December, at 10:00 AM Central time.

The date for the game has not been determined yet. If the worst-case scenario hits and the Vikings wind up playing on Wild Card weekend, the game could take place on either 6 or 7 January. If the team, as expected, captures a first-round bye and doesn’t play until the divisional round, the game will take place on either 13 or 14 January.

Tickets will only be available through the Ticketmaster website. There will be no sales at the U.S. Bank Stadium box office or at Ticketmaster outlets. The only place you will be able to get them is through the Ticketmaster website (helpfully linked above).

Ticket prices will range from $80 to $225 for general seating and from $265 to $465 for club seats. Tickets will be limited to a maximum of four and can be purchased by credit card only.

According to the page from the team’s website, approximately 92% of season ticket holders have already purchased their playoff tickets, so there are going to be a limited number of seats available. That means that, if you want them, you’re going to have to jump on them fast.

So, if you have plans on making the trek to U.S. Bank Stadium. . .how ever long it might be. . .to see the Vikings host their first playoff game this postseason, have your browsers loaded and ready to go at 10:00 AM Central time on Saturday morning. Best of luck to those of you that are attempting to get tickets!
